Value Add Programs

Ages 0 – 12

Looking for a fun way to stay active and learn new skills? Value add programs allow children to build on their learning each week to feel a sense of accomplishment as they grow and develop.

Value add programs can be added to a Youth YMCA membership for an additional bi-weekly fee and require registration. Visit the membership desk to have the corresponding value add applied to your membership.

Once the corresponding value add has been applied to your membership, registration is available online through your member portal and in person at any of our Health and Wellness locations.

Squash Lessons (Ages 10 – 12)

This program will introduce youth to the game of squash in a fun and interactive way. Instructors make the learning process enjoyable while helping to develop proper skills. No experience is necessary.

Registration is available online through your member portal and in person at any of our Health and Wellness locations. Participants must have an active YMCA of Three Rivers membership (not on hold) with the Racquet Court value add to register for programs.

Squash Lessons are offered from September to June, however members with the Racquet Court value add can book Racquet Courts for independant play throughout the year. See our Recreational Programs, Recreational Swims, and Swim Lessons for other year-round program offerings.

Play Care (Ages 0 – 5)

Drop your baby or preschooler off at play care so you can enjoy the Y. Your child will love having social time with others, reading stories with our caring staff and volunteers, singing or doing a craft. This program supports with bottle feeding, parent-provided light snacks, and children who are going through separation anxiety. Leave it to our staff to make your child feel special while in our care.

Play Care membership value add required.

*Parent/guardian must remain in the building once their child is signed into play care. If staff are unable to settle a child, parent/guardian may be asked to assist in settling the child or supporting behaviour.
