School Programs

Programs to support the health and well-being of students.

The YMCA of Three Rivers operates and supports a variety of programs for students throughout the school year. All of our programs are designed to support the health and well-being of students, while inspiring them to reach their full potential.  
 
We would not be able to operate any of these programs without the generous support of various partners. From local school boards to national governing bodies, our partnerships enable us to do more good in our community.

Ensuring the aquatic safety of students in Guelph.

SHARKs Program

The SHARKs program teaches the Lifesaving Society's "Swim to Survive" curriculum of surviving a sudden and unexpected fall into deep water.

Student Nutrition Program

Student Nutrition Programs improve children’s learning capacity, health and well-being by ensuring access to healthy food.

Rapid intervention for students experiencing academic and behavioural difficulties.

YMCA Alternative Suspension

The proven program model aims to reduce the number of repeat suspensions and decrease behaviours that can result in suspension.
